As an early innovator of Pseudo-Wire technology, Axerra Networks introduced the concept of Pseudo-Wires using multiservice over packet (MSoP) terminology, coining the terms Multiservice over IP, Circuit Emulation Service over IP, Frame Relay over IP, and ATM over IP. These capabilities are now part of Axerra's comprehensive Pseudo-Wire solutions. Axerra's solutions are deployed in providers' networks today, carrying revenue traffic and enabling substantial cost savings and profitable new revenue streams for top-tier operators worldwide.

Axerra is leading the development of standards for Pseudo-Wire solutions in all major forums, including the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF), Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF), and the MFA Forum. Axerra Networks, Ltd. is a member of the Israel Association of Electronics Industries (IAEI) which is an ETSI member.
